OK missus but we want to hear your news once you can stop long enough to sit down and tell it!

Hi Lovelies!
I've just sat and typed a huge post to you all with lots of navel-gazing stuff then managed to accidentally delete it *sigh*.
As it's late, I'm not going to try and retype it tonight - will come back tomorrow. In the meantime, love and hugs to all.

... which gives us all something to look forward to on a dreary Monday!
I hope your update is full of good things Nora. MTx0 -
Ok, I'm a day late - but I'm here, and that's really all that matters... no, really.
Not much navel-gazing this evening as it's already late and I have to be up early - but a fun bit of money saving news to share with you all.
So for the first time in years, I've just sat and actually compared my car insurance quote with various other providers. Lots coming up more than £100 cheaper for the same or similar level of cover and 'added extras'... fab. Then I remembered the trouble I got into with you lot when I forgot to do the cashback thingy on my breakdown cover, so trotted off to Topcashback and thankyouverymuchly, have not only saved £115 on my car insurance (and with a well known and very good provider), but (if the cashback stuff works) have another £45.50 coming back!
You lot rock. Permission to be all smug for the rest of the night, and at least half of tomorrow... go on, be off with your good selves now.

Yay for savings and avoiding a telling off.

I have to do the same thing some time this week, need to see if renewing with my current insurer is best for the new car or leaving it to run out on the old car while I sell it and getting a new policy for the new one. Mostly though I need to sell the old car so I can pay for the insurance! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Smugness very much required! Well done! I do love stories like that!
Hmmm, is it also ok if I dream of how much chocolate £45.50 can buy???

Noraaaa.... Noraaaa...
Even £45.50 worth of chocolate can't be keeping you busy all this time... what are you up to? (she asks nosily!)
