Land of leather - have I been mis-sold a sofa set?

Hi I purcahsed a 3 piece leather sofa set from land of leather in May (it was a brown leather sofa set) and was told that the sofa set was a "leather match" sofa (this is written on the receipt). When the sofa was delivered all was well untill the delivery guy spotted a mark on the back of one of the sofas.

Well I then informed land of leather asap, and they arranged for a chap to come round yeaterday to fix the torn patch. What happened yesterday when the guy was fixing the sofa was thet he told me that my sofa was half leather (leather the front bits) and the other bits are vinal i.e plastic hence the reason why the back of the sofa had a mark/tear as vinal is apperently easy to tear.

I'm quite annoyed that the sofa that I was sold is now half plastic/vinal, at no point when I was bought the sofa I was never told that the sofa was half vinal and if I knew thiis I would not of puchased the sofa's therefore I feel a bit gutted purchasing a sub standard product.

Can people please advce what I should do now?

ps I was told to wait 24 hours for the repair to bed in , not to happy about this either as I don't really see why when I purchase a new sofa set I should get a repair job on a substandard product.

Leather Match is a common term in "the trade" so unless you were told it was 100% leather by the the shop staff you've no real grounds for complaint.

    http://www.landofleather.co.uk/faq-craftmanship.html
"Leather/Leather Match is when Leather is used on parts of the suite that you see and use e.g. seating area, back rest area and arms.
Leather Match is a synthetic material, of the same colour, which is used on the backs, sides and footrest of the suite."

How does the repair look? If it's unacceptable you could reject the goods

"If the fault is only minor and can easily be put right, it may be reasonable to accept a repair. This won’t stop you claiming a replacement or refund if the repair turns out to be unsatisfactory takes too long or causes a significant inconvenience."
