Do we have any Sky engineers listening?
I am fed up with Virgin, and considering options. I need fibre BB, as otherwise I can only get 1 Mbps (Virgin avge 54). Sky keep telling me they are in the area, but have not seen hide nor hair, and I don't believe it.
Does anyone know any facts please?

Sky don't have a fibre rollout, they will sell you access to Openreach's fibre network though, if you are in an area covered by them0

Why >
BT aren't OpenReach -It'd be no different to asking Sky
Sky Fibre and BT Infinity are exactly the same product and both supplied by OpenReach. If one has it available so will the other ...likewise if one doesn't neither will the other.
Either it hasn't yet been cabled to your street yet or it has. So it could be in your area but not yet available to your particular address yet ....or even at all potentially. Quite why that means you think Sky are lying to you sounds a bit bizarre though. What would be the point ? With 12 million customers they don't have any reason to lie. Either you wait for the fibre or you move to Virgin (assuming you aren't in contract)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

There you are then ....just have to be patient !
I had a customer who watched the engineers install Fibre in his street three weeks ago - He's still waiting for OR to release it to BT , Sky etcI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Youll have to look out for the cabinets.

Ours actually don't have or ever had the stickers - so useful but not a foolproof way of telling.
I really don't understand why OR have in some towns rolled out to only half a town and left the rest on Connect though.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
