    :rotfl::rotfl:Scarlet pimpernel - springs to mind :rotfl::rotfl:

Love your mortgage figure - so if you pay £4056.70 (get it 4567) then you'll be under your £60,000 :) You know your there already really, just use some of the EF ;)

You'll manage it just fine. :)

Must be some garage according to the costs you quote, I think I'd be tempted to make it almost like an extension with side door and windows, so I would have the choice later on to make it an annexe/games room/man cave :D office :(

You really need to be handy as these quotes are frightening
Remember to update your challenges - like the 2016 mfw  and signature.

    Haha pimpernel made me laugh

Ya i could use the EF to get under the 60k mark now but i couldn't then aim for 55k this year as it wouldn't be possible. i really enjoy chipping away at it and seeing the balance come down on a weekly basis keeps me motivated

Ya the garage is around 28/30 square meters is size so is pretty big. im trying to do it without having any building regs so much less hassle for me.
If you can imagine a double garage door a single pvc door to the side is kinda what im going for.

The whole house is a man cave for me and the boy really haha

ya i had a quote to con create the drive few quotes around 700ish

found out materials are only £208 and hire a mixer £40 a day can save half by doing it myself with a mate crazy

ya i know im slacking big time afk :[ with the updates

I just meant o/p for the year, now, then you could "pay back" your EF throughout the year :D, instead of o/p your mortgage. Saves a whole lota interest, you know  try the o/p calculators and see what you would be saving just by paying the lump sum now instead of over the year. Bet your surprised.:money:

My OCD is kicking in, get £57.40 paid :D - will leave you with a balance of £63999.00 :j

Big garage - great if you could save a few ££ getting the concrete done yourself. :(

:) Nice o/p :) Your now in your 63's
Is this a trick question or what, cause you don't just save over 1 year, you save over the term of your mortgage :) not only do you save but finish your mortgage earlier :j :D :j

Try Sue's linky - and put in the 2 scenarios, 1 without o/p and 1 with, it will show you the two side by side

Hope this work cause I'm useless when it comes to linkys :o

    That is really good afk
if i can do 1k every 2 months consistently id be very happy myself
Thing is such a long process isn't it
Even if i chucked 20k at it tomorrow if i could id still have years left to pay it off so slow and steady i think is the best option so we can enjoy life as well :]
