postage time to Spain ?

Does anyone have any experience of delivery times from the UK to Spain (Valenciana?) please ?

Buyer placed an order on Sunday 1st Feb, with an EBay delivery estimate of Feb 5th - 9th & has just messaged me asking where it is as it's the last day of the delivery window.

It says 3-5 days from the day you have posted. Which day you did post ?

I have been finding post to Europe frequently takes more than a week, and Ebays estimated delivery dates don't reflect this

I would reply to your buyer explaining that post sometimes takes longer and ask if they can wait a few more days to see if it arrives. Keep them happy as you don't want them opening an INR case.

I send letters and packets very often, usual delivery time is 3 days, but on many occassions it has taken between 7-10 days, so don't worry just yet, I would give it another week.

I think Ebay doesn't really let you to open a case if your post is late for 1-2 day ?

I agree, explaining this should be enough (hopefully)

ETA: Hmmmmm, out of the 7 times she's left feedback, one of this has been a -ve with a -ve comment, and one a +ve but with a -ve comment. Not looking good for me

Spain's postal system is awful. Need to allow at least two weeks to some areas.

i live in spain part of the year and it can take forever especially asspain has so many bank holidays etc depending on the area

my parents posted a parcel 8th dec and we only got it 2 weeks ago, the 2nd one still not received , yet sometimes when she posts us anything it can arrive on a wed when posted the friday before (5 days)

agree on that certainly for posting to spain

but items posted in spain to the uk take a few days
