I see O2 and Vodafone only, not Orange/EE.
For some reason Orange/EE employees have always been much more expensive (greedy?).0 -
What do you actually mean by "levels"? Intellect? IQ? Pockets' depth?!
The iPhone is a premium flagship phone and the Moto is a budget level entry phone. In terms of where the Moto G compares very well to a 3G but not the iPhone 6 series,. However not everyone wants to pay the premium prices of a high end phone, and that why we have the range on the market.Who cares about endless updates? If it ain't broke don't fix it!
With respect not installing updates and installing software where you do not know the providence is a recipe for all sorts of malware. I like money saving but sometimes its better to pay for something so you know what you are getting.0 -
It's not what you said originally: "different levels users". Judging by your reply it's all seems to be down mainly to the depth of pockets.
Compares very well to 3g? Is it a joke? The only similarities I see are the size and the weight.

Even if you mean 3g extrapolated to 2015, it wasn't "a budget level entry phone" in 2008.
Even more, it's very difficult to spot serious differences in terms of specifications between iPhone 6 16Gb and Moto G 2015:
http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=6378&idPhone2=6991
The only differences I see are:
Number of sims
LTE bands
Fingerprint sensor
OS
CPU,GPU chips ( iPhone is definitely better, but surely Moto G isn't grossly 'underpowered')
Video quality
FM radio
Barometer
dual/single flash
Hardly stunning...
Another similarity is pathetick 1-year warranty. LOL.
I know, it's build quality, screen/camera quality and all that, not just specs.
With respect, open source software is the most trustworthy IMO, unlike, say, notoriously 'closed' Microsoft's Skype that some big companies don't allow using.0 -
I paid £125 for my Moto G 2nd Gen and its great
I can
Make calls, receive calls, send and receive sms
Use wifi
My Garmin cost me £125 with all europe maps and camera alerts. My Moto G does the same between 2 free apps so I have Sat nav with offline worldwide maps and EU cam alerts
I receive emails from 5 different accounts
I have a 8MP camera and front cam
FM radio, Bluetooth
Skype, Facebook and loads more
I have security that can disable it remotely and track it if it gets stolen
Battery life is fine
It's dual sim and has a micro SD slot for up to 32Gb
I'm damned if I'll ever fork out £600 for an iphone high end or not.
Moto G does me just fine
Reviews all say its as good as any phone thats twice the price
I think an iphone 6 may be slightly better but in my eyes its an unnecessary status symbolIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0 -
Hi,
Yes, these cowboys are very clever to hide the any mention of actual cost of unlocking until you have already paid them £19. This is non-refundable and when they then tell you you have to pay a much larger amount to complete the unlocking, they go to great lengths to tell you in the email that there are loads of places on the website where it tells you about this. This is utter rubbish. There is nowhere on the site where it tells you what you will actually pay. They have done everything in their power to HIDE the truth from you to get your money.
I have already waited 8 working days for my unlocking from EE and their c.y.a. excuse is that the website states that the times stated are average ones and stuff out of their control might take longer. Well it's ALL out of their control as far as I can work out!. Look on their front page: They guarantee they are the quickest and cheapest. !!!!!!!!.
They are thieves and scammers who must be put out of business and hopefully into jail.0 -
Nah. They'll just move on to the next scam when this one's run out of steam. Dream on!0
-
The website in question appears to be disused, with just a parking type page there now.
There are several unlocking websites of dubious merit, spammed on forums all over the place, not always removed by moderation, usually posted from IP addresses that indicate a mobile network thousands of miles from here.
Stick with reputable ones. If you're not sure, do a search and think about which ones look like spammers.0 -

I forgot to mention that since starting this thread I did contact my credit card company about this
I had to wait some time while they tried to contact the bandits concerned and give them a chance to respond
Eventually I was refunded0
