Looks like minor admin changes that'll only impact the tester, tbh. Apart from the move to centrally-provided IT kit to browser-based on garage-owned, how does it compare to the current process?0

I'm a little more concerned about this link from the same issue as a shining example of why we need the MOT in the first place

...and then people mutter when there's an advisory saying undertrays prevented full testing...0 -
The move over to the new system and garages providing their own kit has been the excuse for an interesting piece of !!!!!! thinking. For several months now and for several more to come, quality control checking has been suspended.0

And then we have people on here saying that you'll kill the local kittens by fitting budget tyres or having less than 3mm tread!!!!

Hint: Even a set of 3/4 worn Linglongs would be safer than any of those!!!!0 -

I was pulled up by ministry man for failing a track rod end with play in it. Was told unless it's so worn it's about to fall off it's not a fail.
Mad what can pass.0 -
Well Justin, you know the mantra, pass and advise.0

This was years and years ago, but yeah - "You've passed, here's an advisory you should fix your steering before it breaks" !0
