Monday 9 February - what small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym .
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending .
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:money:

Morning all,
Thought I would start the thread this morning - hopefully noone else had the same idea at the same time:)
Just reported a load of spam, thread after thread of itIt is quite time consuming when there is thread after thread of it isn't it - or is there a trick to report multiple spam threads in one go?

Help OH to load the soil and rubble he dug out to make our new paved area in the garden yesterday onto the truck, to take it to the tip He did it without any help
Meals from stores Done
Make broccoli and stilton soup for lunch, supper already sorted as there is bolognese in the fridge defrostingDone, lots of soup for lunches this week, and still enough bolognese to fill jacket potatoes tomorrow
Clean bathroom Done
Return library book Done
Visit sales unit to see if restocking needed Done, I took a few small items with me, but will need to take more tomorrow as there are gaps

Morning DFW-Jedis,
Well, life goes on, as does the almost everlasting quest for solvency and sanity. Todays my day off and I've a few messages to run. Had a really busy day yesterday doing DFW-style things and was really proud of myself for getting through the whole list.
The List
:starmod: Check online banking and reconcile monies
:starmod: Do i-Say surveys.
:starmod: Turn off electric alarm clock at the wall til tonight.
:starmod: Read news online instead of buying a paper.
:starmod: Blitz the kitchen later with Stardrops.
:starmod: Find out what tiny gifts OH wants for her birthday.
:starmod: Break into hut/shed if the WD40 hasn't loosened the stuck padlock. Buy a new padlock if necessary. It was opening fine yesterday.
:starmod: Post camera bag I sold on eBay. Got the cheapest posting price through Parcel2go. (Link)
:starmod: Enjoy some photography along the seafront in a nearby town. Free entertainment.
:starmod: Visit Aldi bargain hunting but only buy if the items are really bargains!
:starmod: Check TopCashback and Quidco for incoming monies.
:starmod: This week's treat is a lunch out at an inexpensive cafe in nearby town. They always have a 2 meals and a drink for £x offer on. But just one drink and a light lunch, that's all.
:starmod: Had a good look through CD collection. Today I shall listen to CDs that haven't been heard for years instead of buying new ones.
:starmod: Hunt for cheap lightbulbs in Asda. One blew last night and we had 5 spares in the cupboard, none of which fitted.
Well that's me for today. Back later if time allows. Good luck on your quests, Jedis.
