to OP I would seek legal advice as you would be breaking the terms of your trade plates if convicted of running a car with no tax showing as per photos0 -
Which is easier said than done sometimes.
What you supposed to do where number plates are stuck on or are rectangular or are fixed to one side of the bumper ?
It's clear they hadn't thought of all eventualities when getting rid of the tax disc and the system has little or no flexibility in it.
Should the motor trade organisations be putting some kind of case forward ?
there was one of those consultative documents sent out about 3 years ago asking for views but dvla filed it all under b for bin because the hats moved departments0
