Yes it would be untenable.0 -

If he is touching you he is committing a crime so what you do when he does it next is up to you but I'd tell him I am calling the police.
I should have said it wasn't him, it was another person involved in this meeting.
Its weird have have seen others experience this sort of thing and its not my first either but I never considered it was a crime. A lot of replies have included this message but I honestly never considered it to be criminal.
Would the police honestly be remotely interested?0 -

I second this.
I appreciate that you don't want to lose your job but as said give a bit more information on the company structure please ?
What will you do if he goes further? Needs to stop now and I feel bad to see people are left to suffer in silence.
I don't want to give too many details, I understand it makes helping me more difficult but I'm wary of being outed.
I don't think he will I'll be honest, that may be naive but I don't think its the contact he enjoys but the reaction, making me feel small knowing my place that sort of thing.0 -

So you do not think touching you is a crime? Seriously?
So if someone did it in the street is it not a crime there also?0 -

That is called POWER and I bet he loves having the power over you like all sexual pests, perverts, and violent men (women too).0 -

That's exactly what I mean, when I was younger if I went out for a few drinks I could guarantee there would be at least 1 incident of unwanted grabbing (not just me) but we never called the police. In one job I would spend the day listening to the guys in my office rating women who walked by. One of these regularly had to visit our office, after she left one guy would rant about how inappropriate it was for a woman in her role to dress like that and she was asking for it  I could never see anything wrong with her skirt suit and boots. This was around the time past sexual crimes started in the paper, he would rant how wrong it was, those times were better times and cannot be judged by today's PC standards. This from a guy who would ask if my boobs had grown the one time I wore a v-neck shirt then complained when I didn't wear it again
So no I haven't considered it to be a crime before now.0 -
What Gavin said.
I actually think that if you thought it out and sat down with him, and objectively fed back specifics, he might actually realise that what he is doing is completely wrong. I am amazed over the years, when challenging people about difficult behaviour, and they admit it..He knows he is wrong, and he is used to people not standing up to him.
Personally though, I would still be looking for another job, and getting out of there ASAP, but not before I had that chat...0 -
What someone is wearing has no baring on a pervert holding power over you in the workplace and I am sorry you never thought grabbing your a*se was a crime even when out.
I probably am the total opposite to you. I know no one would ever touch my a*se in the workplace if they knew me well.
When people do not do something about it , it will get worse like bullying at school.0 -
The OP needs to find out who are the directors of the company. Wouldn't any complaint need to be made to them if the OP's request for this person to cease and desist their unacceptable behaviour has no effect?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
