Hope that's you done for Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful time with your friend and make lots of wonderful memories.

Don't beat yourself up too much about not making 5k- but I know it'd be really satisfying to. :)

Thank you, tomorrow I will update my total savings.

In the new year I will root round the flat for change - got a feeling I've got a bit here and there. I must sell some stuff again in January - a good few quid just hanging around the flat unused so will set myself some new year goals.

Think my xmas present spends total is weighting in at £400 this year. So in this year I've spend almost £810 total on Presents which is £67 ish a month I will need to put in a pot for next year. I'm quite shocked how it has added up. Next year I'm going to be a bit more frugal with this.

Will have a catch up on all the diaries now :-)

  • It's surprising how much gifts add up to when you start tracking, isn't it? I'm budgeting a similar amount and I thought I was quite frugal about this!

I've given up on 3bay for the year at least - took the last few things to the charity shop this week, even though two of them were decent labels. It's going to a good cause and my flat looks tidier already!

Please stop worrying about your savings target - the you from this time last year would be very glad to know where you're at now!

Have a wonderful holiday and I hope the new year brings you fabulous things

How are you feeling Sam? Hopefully you're away with your friend having a great time and boosting her too.

Good luck with the 2017 declutter and selling.

  • Happy new year all and me .I don't know about anyone else but I am exhausted..lol.

Made some sales on fleabay so think I have £50 profit for Jan so far - post office was a nightmare today. Might take the rest to charity - (although I am thinking about giving up my job but am far to sensible for that really) but will see what I have.

I need some perfume so I might look at cheaper ones that smell nice or look for some bargains on fleabay.

Been warned by family and friends that I am no to sell my xmas presents on fleabay. :(:(

Capsule wardrobe working well with the addition of a new black R3ISS coat - so I've been a very lucky girl this year.

Goal for this year - is Saving so need to join some challenges oh and the usual things like diet and my health.

Savings account now at £4750 .

Hoping to have £5500 at end of Jan 17 be good to see what I have a year later than when I first joined - in the last year I have gone from 9kish debt to hopefully 6k savings in Feb 17 so adding both up is 15k in 12 full months.

    Happy New Year!
That's an amazing amount to have saved - well done! I hope your 2017 is as good if not better.

Love the idea of a capsule wardrobe (and now have coat envy - I've had my eye on a Jaeger one for nearly 3 years!).

I hope your family who asked you not to fleabay the gifts got you thoughtful ones. My OH's family got us mostly vouchers for things for our flat.
