Sounds like a very successful Christmas and a very generous OH. I spent a bit more on OH but I bring home nearly twice as much as he does...

I hope you can find balance with your work and life- I know from experience how 70+ hour weeks feel... :(

Well done for keeping your savings under lock and key - I've been putting most of mine into an ISA and a high interest account so I cant get my paws on them. I've had a very spend-happy month....

Happy 2017 Sam. How was your friend? Is she remaining quite upbeat and did you both enjoy Christmas together?

Capsule wardrobes and eBay sales are bringing me out in a cold sweat! So much organising to do!

Well done on the savings pot and the amount you managed to pay off and save in 2016. A very successful year in that respect.

Hope you have a good weekend.
Exactly a fortnight to payday here too and I'm just wiped out by the week.
It's a shame about eBay but the profit is still very impressive. I can hardly ever get to the post office when it's open - or at least that's my excuse for not ebaying....

Your doing so well - Keep at it , all this money saving is hard graft lol. I don't actually know what possessed me to do ebay - I cant say I would recommend it to be honest. Everyone seems on the con :o

Roll on payday for us...who would have thought its so hard to stay in the black ;)

Avoiding Sales and online sales is the key for me:T
Lots more home chores done this morning so everything is all lovely and clean well at least until plus one arrives that is :rotfl:

Hope you are well and enjoying time with your other half :D

  • Found out today Very have lost my payment due to wrong ref in billpay I must have mistyped :( . Tried to get hold of them three times and emailed still no one can sort. Might have to go the bank route. Hopefully I will get that back at some point as I've paid again so that I don't get any late charges.

So £95 pending in a pot somewhere. ....

Ahh that's so annoying- I hope they get it sorted out.

I totally agree about online sales being the height of temptation. I'm currently trying to avoid buying any kindle books (no using the excuse that it might not still be 99p tomorrow!) until payday/holiday time.
