Haha, MMM, sorry to disappoint but I no longer have a diary, as I bust my debts about 10 years ago and paid of my mortgage 6 years ago. I steered my new husband into MSE ways and sorted him out so that he could pay his mortgage off 2 years ago.

How I wish there had been this MSE forum when I really needed it, with my card declined in the Supermarket and not enough cash to buy a loo roll. I love the help and camaraderie on here, and put in my two-penny's worth when I think I can offer good advice. I love it when forumites go from their "lowest hour" to clearing the burden of debt - which happens when they get and act on good advice.

I know you had a low day yesterday - I hope today was better? Don't forget to put in an expenses claim for lunch (and anything else).

Flaming Satchmo (I like the sound of that)
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • The last bill came in from the business almost £700 over what I roughly calculated as including 3 way split a refund to client. Business debts £2498.00 ...I was pretty ill about to be honest ..anyway it's all over now...
Updated my signature ....a family member gave me the money to by a large item from very for them for which I added to my account and have used the money to put towards clearing business debt so I can move on ..they know I have done this and I know its a Stupid thing to do but its done now....!

I just need to do priority debts and clear them down...Interestingly BC have lowered my limit down to £900 ...

    AL £1862 ( Down 138 ) Very £1320 ( up £420! ) ;) BC £855 -down 5  C1 £175 - down 25

    Hi Sam

Just delivering ((hugs)) and virtual chocolate.

You've got a clean slate now and you already know you have the skills - that debt won't last long.

    Hello lovely Sam,

All of this would have happened anyway and you managed to get your personal debt down quite considerably before it did. You're in a much better situation than you could have been and for that I think you should be immensely proud of yourself. I know at the moment you must feel like you're on a never ending treadmill, but you will get there! You're such an inspiration!

Delivering huge hugs, and that virtual chocolate that Rosa left? I'm not sure she really did as I can't find it anywhere!

What's that? Chocolate stains around my mouth? How dare you insinuate that I ate it all!!!!

OK, I did! I'll get you some more!!!!
