Hello Sam,
Please don't feel a failure for anything you've done. We all tend to look at the perceived negative side of a decision, but you need to feel proud for giving something a go. Getting out of your comfort zone and trying it out. Most people don't do things like that and their lives aren't richer for it. You took a chance that, due to some circumstances beyond your control right now, meant it didn't work out. Please be proud of yourself for giving it a chance.
I'm sorry to hear you're going through such a bad phase at the moment. You know that you can smack debt and you're learning more about yourself in where your money goes. All of that is good. None of us woke up deciding to get out of debt and then became debt busting angels from there on. I got out of debt and then noticed I was getting back in it again, also due to compulsive spending habits.
Please try to look more at the positive things, as hard as that is when you feel low. From the outside you seem to me to be a strong and focused person and those are great qualities.:kisses3:
I hope the bin liner shopping went well. I popped out for bin liners on Friday and they ended up costing me over £50!!!! I went to the shops hungry! Rookie mistake!!!

Hey Sam
Things will get better, they definitely will! - can't sleep but have been reading loads of tiny house offgrid stories online, convinced we none of us need all the stuff we're used to having. Reeevaluating what my values are, certain money and things are quite a way down the priority list.
...tomorrow is actually now today, and its going to be great. Definitely will be. On we go, have a great day. Hugs xI have borrowed from my future self

:kisses3: for you MT
Ok Finished at 7pm tonight with acres of work to go ...
A bit of Man trouble till I stopped caring..lol then came the apologetic text...some people just really make me angry!
Fed and watered and in bed ...all this non working is giving me back ache ..lol
I should list on ebay and continue to clear out stuff but maybe just for tonight I am going to do nothing :T
I must not reply to said man's text ...in an attempt to look indifferent :rotfl:
On the plus side ...I did not go to the shop to buy food for this evening ...so a plus there ...I really out to focus on NSD
I looked at YNAB last night and don't think im there yet ... I m worried I will buy and lose interest / momentum and waste the fees ...
I am in a strange mood regarding my debt today ...its just debt not the be all and end all of everything ...I have been low trying to think just how to get out of it but with some careful continued planning I will just try my best ...:DGrocery challenge Feb £107/£100-epic fail due to cake and biscuits

Thank you!
I like your stance on the man trouble. As soon as you go distant, when they care, they then backtrack. The fact he apologised shows that he does care.
Personally I really think you're great at debt busting now. You have a steady push forward and that's much easier to maintain. So yes, money isn't the be all and end all of life.
Keep YNAB in mind and wait until the new year. I bought my full version for £7 in January. If I see that sale again I'll let you know.
Have a great day. I hope your indifference is really paying off.

ooooh I need a plan ...:j
June wages I would like to pay off £1000 and try to carry this on until December in an attempt to be debt free by xmas... I know already life will get in the way but I will try
Second night running I have finished at 7pm ..which for me is a miracle starting at 9am is heaven ...compared to the previous up before the birds scenario... Two days in to my new regime I do think I am starting to feel the benefits ...However looking a bit old today
Went to shops and brought a much needed hair dye £4.99 - but no other spends so not too bad at all.
I really could do with a hair cut and I think I have been saying that since February ...:rotfl:Grocery challenge Feb £107/£100-epic fail due to cake and biscuits
