Hotel and parking gatwick airport

We fly to Thailand in the afternoon of the 3rd April for 2 weeks, returning on 18th. What's the cheapest parking available - I have been lead to believe it would be a hotel (for the night of the 2nd) that allows you to park for the duration of your trip, for a charge?
Anyone any links?

Bylromarha states on there that they parked on residential parking for 2.5 weeks.

I hope that helps! Have a FAB holiday0 -
might be cheaper to park off site (find somewhere safe!), and get a taxi (or bus, if nearby) each way?
some b/b's away from the airport may have parking space, and give you a lift, if ask nicely!Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -
There's some great park and fly options around - often hotel & parking from Gatwick is cheaper than just straight parking at our local airport. Ibis cost my o/h £51 for a night's stay and 8 days parking - if you book ahead long enough, they offer great discounts:

I'm not sure, from memory, if you have to book the park and fly over the phone or if you can do it online, though, so don't panic if you can't see options via the online booking system. I imagine the other chains do this as well (I vaguely remember Premier Inn being one of the choices we looked at for him).Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
My starting place is always http://www.holidayextras.co.uk/ plus check PremierInn and Travelodge as both have several hotels in the area. As usual, it's a choice of cost vs convenience. The Premier Inn North Terminal isn't the cheapest but it's directly opposite departures so there's no faffing around with a taxi or transfer bus.
There are loads of B&Bs and small hotels in the Gatwick area so you are sure to get a deal. I've had a B&B + 1 week parking for £50 before. It wasn't a great hotel but I was only there for about 8 hours.
I'd also consider a hotel/B&B for the night after you return from Thailand. I know that when I've just come off a long haul flight I am in no fit state to drive home.0
