Samsung unlock.
I have finished my contract with tmobile and need to use my phone on another provider so I asked them to unlock. Said it would cost £20 which would be added to final bill. I never got the email they said they would send. Rang again and said they would send code within72 hours. They never did and final bill did not charge me. But how do I get phone unlocked? Does it need unlocking get? The phone is Samsung Galaxy Ace 2? Can anyone advise please?

You might be able to find a code on eBay, this is the only way to get it unlocked.0

Have you tried the other provider's sim card.
It may still work if it's on the same network and are you sure it's actually lockedNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Yes, first try the other provider's sim to confirm that your phone is actually locked. If it is locked, it will ask you for an unlock code.
If it is locked, which if you bought the phone from EE, it probably is, try this form: http://ee.co.uk/help/getting-started/joining-ee/unlocking-your-phone0
