Thats the good thing about the BA site, the price shown includes taxes etc. so the £360:20 for 2 return is all in, as Alanrowell suggested. OK you have to get the late flight out and back.0 -
ive found out to my cost, that flights go up in value the longer you leave it, booking early is definitly cheaper.
Not always, this is true for low cost and scheduled airlines, but charter is a different ball game, and Chania is a charter destination.
As the charter flights are taken up by the tour operators they will often dump seats and holidays at very cheap prices in the couple of weeks leading to departure, just to get bums on seats at any rate. The tour operators have paid for all the seats so they might as well put people in them, even for very little profit!
This is never guaranteed though. However as an indication, if you wanted flights for the next week you can get to Chania for £190. Bear in mind this is the hight of summer holiday peak season, so leaving it a bit may be a good idea. Best thing to do is monitor flight prices over the coming weeks to see any trends.0 -
The £180.10 price I quote INCLUDES taxes & charges - £133.00 for the flight, £47.10 for the taxes, fees, charges & surcharges.steveandel wrote: »Yeah I saw that as well but follow it through and add taxes etc on and it comes out at over £500
All BA flights booked via their website give the final price at the first stage.0
