Old is however you feel on a particular day! Some days it's older than others, today's a good day for me so I have a spring in my step.
I thought if I asked the question on this thread then people would be more likely to understand that my DH doesn't need all the things that some of the younger generation feel the need for. Basic features, easy to use, plain large screen, decent for photographs, not too expensive if he lost it or dropped it and able to change tariffs if we find one better value later on.
I think at the moment the Motorola Moto E is coming out on top.
One lady posted that she has one and is really pleased with it and the sites I've checked give it a really good rating all for around £80 plus a charger which is extra and then to buy a sim from Sainsburys or Three. There I've really done my research. Anyone want to add any advice before I actually go and buy it?
Thanks0 -
I love the "Hello Moto" ring tome, got it on my iPhone :-)"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

After much deliberation I have finally made my purchase. I've gone for a higher priced Moto G 4G. I read all the reviews and looked at the ones you good folks suggested and this was my decision in the end.
I will need a charger and I'm going with Sainsburys sim 8p calls and 4p texts. I'll see how this goes and can then try other companies if I'm not happy with the reception on this one.
Thanks again for all your help and suggestions.0 -
You might be better using the Three 3-2-1 sim esp as the Sainsbury sim is not 4G and you have a 4G phone (Three offer 4G without extra charge)0

You can get a free SIM for Siansbury's via their online mobile shop

But in store may come with top up & "free" anyway
