Bosch washing machine drain hose

My son has just moved house and bought a new washing machine, but the hoses that came with it are too short to reach the outlet and inlet.

The model is Bosch Classixx WAE24369GB.

He has just been to Screwfix and bought a 2.5m drain hose and water feed hose.

I just wondered if anyone knows whether the Screwfix hoses will fit the Bosch washing machine? My OH seems to think he should have bought a connector to extend the drain hose, but he said they didn't sell those.

Any advice much appreciated.

ask your son, he will have fitted the new hoses by now, or not if they did not fit

Standard sizes for the inlet pipes so no problem there.

Outlet are also normally all the same size too and have rubber ends on them where they fit onto the pump so again that shouldn't be a problem.

I see these standard outlet hoses hanging up in the shops & wonder how many people buy then & find they don't fit. When I worked for Hotpoint I carried at least 3 different hoses to cover just our machines.
