Just got a loan from Tesco approved 12% 7500 over 6 years 144 a month joint loan going to have another look tomorrow.

Wow. Just wow. At least as a shareholder in Tesco that gives me some much needed cheer...

Did we just rush you for ~£1k for something you could have saved for for 1.5 years?

A six year term is a heck of a long time, and 12% interest is a lot. I hate to agree with the grump, but if that makes s the best you can get, it does look like you should consider reducing your budget and/or postponing for a year while you save up a bit more.

I am 44 my fiance is 39 so no more kids I have 3 and she has 2
That is simply staggering. I assume at least one of you has been married before so this extravagant party has already been done once before, yet you still want to do it all again!

Based on your combined previous experiences, have you worked out who is going to continue to repay the loan if you split up?
  • Glen Have you got a Home Bargains anywhere near by?

They have loads of bits called Special Occasions cheap.

The online has a couple but you have to buy in bulk but they give you some idea of what they are like. You can find them on this page.
