Can anyone recommend ear plugs that won't break the bank.
I had some which you squeezed then put in your ear and they expanded to the shape of your ear, but after three/four nights they no longer mould to fit.
I don't want to feel I wouldn't hear the smoke alarm etc but I do want to block outnext door's dog barking.
Can anyone recommend any, I've come across a disc ear plug, any recommendations?

i bought some of these (not 50 pairs though) - but 50 pairs, if you use them every night and need to change them every 3 or 4 days, would last you more than 6 months.

I get them from the pound shop. You get a big pack of them and they are much more effective than the more expensive ones IMO.0

Yes I swear by this type, much better quality than the spongey ones in boots etc. A lot of industrial and aviation places I know of use this brand too0 -
B & Q do a big bag of them (50 I think) for around 1.990

My wife uses ear plugs every night she says the ones from Superdrug are the best they don't hurt her ears and block out noise.
These ones

I did try her on ones from work which are essentially free but she said they were no good for sleeping in.
Me I just put my good ear to the pillow I am not hearing anythingI started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -

I find the foam ones pop out and are uncomfortable. Silicone earplugs on the other hand are very comfortable, they are hygienic, reusable, and they squish to exactly the right shape.
Having always used Boots own brand, or Bioears at about £4 for a pack of 6, I've instead placed an order for these which, at £2 for a pack of 14, seem much more reasonable price-wise: ebay Clicky
If you find you don't get on with the foam ones, give the silicone ones a try!0 -
Surely discussing your noise isses with your family and trying to resolve matters amicably would be the best value option?0
