No they wouldn't.
It shows a basic lack of understanding of business if you think the closure of one company leads to an equal number of new stores to open.
It assumes all existing coffee chain stores are operating at full capacity and can't handle new business. The reality is other coffee chains could absorb a significant amount of cafe neros business without the creation of new stores (or jobs).
This thread is about coffee shops, it already has a well known statistics & continues to expand. Read these articles, I've even chosen to completely different sources (so no political bias) to show how relentless the coffee business is. It also shows how with it being such a successful industry if one chain closes due to some weird boycotting (which never has any impact anyway) then another chain would jump on the opportunity and increase it's market presence.
Why coffee shops are replacing pubs in Britain

This thread is not about coffee shops it's about quidco and reviews.
Your links are irrelevant as they just say that coffee shops are popular. They don't say if a chain went bust an equal number of shops and jobs would be created by alternative chains.
You don't seem to understand anything at all about how businesses operate.
I can only assume you're deliberately trolling again.0 -

Lol, it's carry on trolling :rotfl:0 -

Social media posts aren't as effective as people think. If you look at any companies facebook or twitter feed you will find complaints.
Service reviews from companies like trust pilot are much more important and have a better conversion rate for the company involved.0 -

I don't need to lower myself to insults. It's quite clear that
(a) you don't know what you're talking about
(b) you have nothing actually useful to say about the original post
(c) you're deliberately trolling in the hope to get a rise
Don't worry though I don't play that game and I'll miss you when you ultimately get kicked out of the forum....0 -

I am indeed.
Shouldn't you be going to work soon? I think the supermarket cafe opens in around an hour.
I wouldn't want you to be late;)0 -

New shops wouldn't open
They will open if money is to be made due to increased demand.Your view on deficit/debt is too simplistic which is understandable as it is a complex issue that I know some people have trouble with.
The principle of deficit is spending more money than tax taken, so it follows that large corporations paying their tax would bring down the deficit. The over spending is a historic problem which the coalition are attempting to solve with drastic cuts in the public sector.
The deficit will be solved by reducing public expenditure not by increasing tax revenue. This is what the government is currently doing and it seems to be working as the deficit is going down.
Political choices. They could equally choose to raise tax income, and collecting from large corporations would be a good start. On a side note I assume you also boycott Amazon, Google, YouTube etc. all of which adopt similar practices to cafe nero
You keep writing 'boycott' but I have simply said that one can choose to take one's custom elsewhere if companies' reputations are damaged by their tax affairs. It isn't just tax, it's also companies who in my opinion over use zero hours contracts. You won't find me in Sports Direct.

Bringing the thread back on topic, I received the following today from Quidco:Hi there
Thank you for your review for AA Car insurance published before 2014.
The retailer has acknowledged your feedback and I am pleased to inform you we have been working closely with both the Affiliate network and retailer to improve the cashback service for our members since your review was submitted to us.
I would like to thank you for your time in writing the review as this helps highlight areas of improvement and enables us in delivering a better service to you.
This review has now been archived to make way for newer reviews on the site.
Please do continue to submit reviews for our retailers as this feedback is really helpful.
Kind regards,
Quidco Support
It is the first time I've heard of online reviews having to be deleted to 'make way for newer reviews'... It looks and sounds like censorship to me...0
