Heard today from the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board that my claim to Finnair for a delayed flight from Helsinki to ShangHai in 2009 had not been successful.

Under Finnish law, all claims must be received within 3 years of travel.

Have another read of point 6.2 in Vaubans superb guide as it might be possible to have a second bite of the cherry. I'm not sure tho what type of presence Finnair have in this country but you do have up to 6 years. That gives you a few months to put your claim in if you wanted to.
