Your car will be pre-registered as a 64 plate thus enabling the dealer to reach certain sales targets.

You won't be getting a 15 plate (unless there is a blue moon between now and March)

So did anyone see a blue moon? :rotfl:

In case anyone who replied to my original question is interested.
We are getting a 15 plate after much debate with the dealership.

Glad you got that sorted, I don't think the guy you last replied to was having a go, usually pre registered means exactly that.
Let's hope the car you recieve is of the model spec that you 1st enquired about.

I realise that and I was honestly not holding out much hope.
I hope he doesn't think I was having a dig either as I wasn't I was just pleased that we got the 15 reg.

  • so it will actually be pre registered as a 15 plate with you as the 2nd keeper?

Dealer registeres it on March 1st in their name.. then into you on MArch 2nd.

whcih is what was being said all along by everyone.

Thank you for your reply, I understand what a pre reg car is and I never disputed that I would be the 2nd keeper. My original question was if there were any legitimate ways I could prevent the car being registered as a 64 plate when we were so close to the 15 plate being available.
