after getting through to retention's and them not being able to match the deal i saw on Uswitch (on the EE network) for the note 4, i decided to call it day and gave my 30 days notice and requested a PAC (after 15 long years with t-mobile).

was wondering within the 30 days has anyone had experience where carriers (win-me back team) call back and give a very good deal to keep the customer (similar to Sky?

also has anyone had experience with Mobiles.co.uk and Mobilephones.co.uk as they listed on Uswitch with the best deals. are easy to work with in getting the deal go through smoothly (i know subject to status)? are the handsets brand new sealed. after sales service? problem solving service?

Uswitch seem to choose them for nearly all deals so can it be that bad? i have seen some threads on some of the customers experience with them have gone through so wondering if its worth it or should i just go to CPW or other networks?

as usual all advice, suggestions and general comments welcomed and thanked.

There are plenty of threads on Mobiles.co and their sister companies. Less on the other one you mention. Do a search. Usually they are cheaper because they involve the use of cashback. I recommend you learn all about that too if you go with a deal which does.

    This may help if so:-

I used mobiles.co.uk and got the cashback on time. Just be aware there are a few threads saying that they (and other similar companies) retain the right to reclaim the handset costs back if you end the contract early.

For some reason I was declined for a '3' contract by them this time. In a panic, I ordered all my credit reports and they checked out fine, and I got a contract with '3' direct with no problems, so they may have strict criteria.

The deal i saw is straight deal with no cashbacks. it just happened to be the cheapest without the cashback. will this make a difference in terms of my dealings with them and quality of the handset?

It shouldn't if it's not a so-called "refurbished" phone (and even then it probabaly won't). You can order via a cashback site too, but I've stopped using one of those since three cashbacks were refused by this group which has left a very sour taste after many years of heavy custom.

Thanks, yes i have found out this. luckily same deal on uswitch also has one with o2.

i did have call from EE today but could not answer as i was at work. hopefully they will call back - wondering if it was from their "win-me back team" ;)
  • mobiles.co.uk have a terriible rating on trust pilot, with over 50% of customers rating them as 'poor'. My own recent experience has been very frustrating, with countless hurdles to overcome, :mad:despite 100% credit rating, and two or 3 days trying to sort it out with them, ending in a pointless back to square one and no phone.
