The only credit cards that routinely offers money transfers to new customers are MBNA or MBNA backed cards.

With a money transfer card you can transfer funds in to your current account.
The 0% period can be shorter for money transfers than balance transfers, and the transfer fee can be higher, so you'd need to check these terms to ensure it was financially worthwhile.

    Barclaycard.

You should have asked before applying, not after.
MSE article: 0% money transfer cards

However, a Spending 0% Card can be easier to get. Without paying for a BT you 'shift' your normal spending to the CC and use the 'saved' cash to pay the overdraft off.
  • thank you im looking for one to pay off my overdraft and also to make a payment/finish another payment off so what do I ask for? do I put In a transfer total of my overdraft plus the amount of my other payment?

If it's a 'money transfer' card just read the article and you'll see that you simply get the money (up to 90% of the credit limit typically) to your current account. Then you can do whatever you want with it.
If you use the card for a 'payment' as well, you'll not get 0% on this transaction unless the card offers 0% on purchases as well.
  • so which card would you recommend that I am most likely to be accepted to?

that totally depends on your situation - credit history, salary, etc. If you want to pay off an overdraft it must be a money transfer card like the MBNA one, not a 0% on purchases or 0% on balance transfers one.
