Some other ISPs charge even more -for instance Plusnet charge £2.50 for payment by card !!!!!0

No, I was not.
I was not charged by BEUnlimited, and I was not informed by Sky that a charge would apply after I was transferred over, and not given the opportunity to switch to direct debit.Bournemouth - home of the Mighty Cherries0
