Did you manage to work out why the EA was saying what they were saying? Surely if everything was ready, they would want the sale to go through as much as everyone else.
The EA were giving assurances to both me and the vendor that had no foundation at that time. Perhaps it's easier for them to mislead then to say we actually don't know when the sale will be completed !?
The EA had recommended a solicitor/conveyancer to the vendor and the conveyancer would take weeks to answer my solicitor's questions. This dragged the whole thing far, far longer than was necessary.No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30
