house move switch?

I currently have line rental and broadband with EE and am out of minimum contract. I will be moving to a new area in a couple of months so it seems like a good time to switch. The new property has a phone line. Is it best to move with EE and then switch or terminate with EE and start afresh to find a good deal? Not sure if moving with EE would mean a new contract?

Give EE 30 days notice.
Move with EE will start a new contract .
EE are as of now owned by BT .

A home move is usually free, but such a move invariably commences you on a new minimum term contract of at least 12m.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I don't think that is true until the regulator agrees it which could take until this time next year.0
