Hi, Ive been irritated by the cost of my land line for some time, for £7.60 worth of calls my line rental is£69.66 + VAT total bill £92.71 (home business line ) , only needed land line for Broadband ,so a couple of days ago I took up an offer with TalkTalk which included line rental and some free calls. Taking my costs down by 50% , so far so good but this morning I had a recorded message from BT saying I might be liable for charges.
Ive not renewed any formal contract with BT ,Ive never had any bolt ons which might be construed as a 'new contract' so I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what have they done about it ? thanks

Hi ,thanks, yes I did read that but I thought it not relevant as I have neither TV nor broadband with BT just my phone. My internet was already with TalkTalk which I failed to clarify.0
