Has anyone seen a significant increase recently ?I know there increases but in December my bill was £26.99 for up to 50mb broadband and phone. January it went up to £33 and I just checked and its now up to £38.
£12 is quite an increase within 2months

I have Virgin cable broadband and today received an email from them stating my new bill was ready to view. The bill has gone up by £2.84 a month without them notifying me of any increase. They supercharged my broadband in December but the email said this was on them - free.
I thought they had to give notice for price increases? I have emailed them while logged in as I do not have a phone line with them hopefully they will have an explanation."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
I also heard of a small increase but certainly not two increases in two months. An increase of £12 is a joke.
I found on MSE a link to the increase but it wont let me post it, wish I had left now when I had the choice0 -

Turns out my contract had ended so I phoned up to tell them I was cancelling. Managed to get it down to £24 a month on a 12 month contract but the offer is valid for 18 months. Almost left to go to sky but there download speed was only upto 17mb compared to virgins 50mb in my area. Decent saving in the end

The article says broadband users not affected by price rise but my monthly payment has gone up despite only having broadband."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
