Ask them to send you the proof of postage so that you can claim from the Royal Mail ;o)

Only the sender has a contract with the courier, just for info ;-)

As the OP is referring to the 'postman' I'm guessing it was Royal Mail, on which case the addressee or sender can make the claim.

Never thought of asking if they had proof of postage, See if they had it or not.
Opened a case now, So will see if they respond.

Response... All apologetic they forgot to post it. Why did they mark it as despatched on Monday evening?

It arrived this afternoon with the little parcel van not the earlier postman.
They posted it on Saturday. I wonder if they posted it after I opened the case?

Maybe just coincidence. Post office site down for maintenance so i cannot check the opening times.

I think they sent it before i opened a case. With negatives and only a few sales its made me suspicious i guess.

I hope it works now.
