Well it went really well, as far as first interview in ages can do.
I really liked the two people who interviewed me and felt they were trustworthy and not flakey like my current manager and director.
However the job is a slight step down/sideways into a different field altogether (still basically administrative and fairly responsible but I could probably take on more if I felt happier in myself).
They are going to get back to people today hopefully, if not then Monday. I did mention progression quite a bit so if that hasn't put them off, and they offer me the job, I have to negotiate similar salary to my current one, ask about pension and annual leave and then make a decision, which is going to be tough. I don't want to appear disinterested but I am genuinely undecided, as I am not sure whether I am doing it to run away from the annoyances in my current job, and whether it is a good career move or not. Not that I particularly feel I have a career - I seem to drift a bit.0
