I have never heard of Quext before...is this a new service? Ive heard of Ansa before, similar to AQA, then of course theres the 118 service. I dont know of any others.
I am one of the 63336.
As an AQA'er you should be able to find the answer to that question yourself
There seems to be quite a few inferior clones of AQA popping up. I've not come across Ansa.
Quext is registered to an IT manager in Coventry at what appears to be a residential address.0 -
How are the new starters with AQA getting along? I'd love to hear an update.Got Halifax Classic to reduce my interest rate by 5% woohoo - 10/06/08 Thanks MSE!

Hello researchers! I have been accepted today to be an AQA researcher, posting my signed contract off tomorrow morning. Very excited but a bit apprehensive! Not for one second do I think I'm going to get rich but I am aiming to boost my income by about £200 a month. I already work full time, does this seem reasonable or not?
Also, and this may be a stupid question, but can I do this from any PC/laptop, or does it need specific software installing into one machine only? The reason I'm asking is that we have both a PC and a laptop and I need to know if I can use both if one is being used or do I have to stick to one?
This thread has been really interesting to read. I believe the next step for me is a 30 question induction? If I make a go of this it would be really good to 'meet' a few fellow researchers!
Thanks all,
Sue x
How do you apply?? thanks0 -
I've been checking the AQA site, they're not taking on applications from the UK at the moment. This does sound like interesting work.0

There has been a large recruitment drive recently, so it may be a while before they take more UK researchers on. Keep an eye on http://www.aqa.63336.com/vacancies.htm or follow them on twitter where they usually announce vacancies.0

anyone work for the company just now? Any news on where recruitment starts again?0

Researchers don't really have much to do with recruitment, so we usually only find out once it's already started. Personally, I think it may be a while before they look at taking more people on.0

Hello there,
I'm currently in the process of applying for both Quext and AQA. The threads here are really very useful, so thanks to everyone who has contributed.
Does anyone have any up-to-date info or experiences to share regarding either company?
Just a few questions:
Do the rates of pay / shift patterns etc vary greatly? I know AQA doesn't have shift as such, but not sure about Quext.
Is it still possible to make a reasonable amount per month doing this? By which I mean around £100 or so. I have the time to put in, but they all do seem to recuit a lot of people and I wonder if this has impacted on how much work there might be to go around.
I'm looking to supplement my part-time job, so i'd mostly be doing weekends and late nights. Are these likely to be reasonably busy times?
I appreciate a lot of these questions have been addressed, but would be useful to get an up to date perspective if possible.
Thanks loads in advance, any advice is much appreciated!

I have a question about self-assessment. I worked as an AQA researcher for a few months last year, but now I can't access the IBR group as it's been so long that my email has become inactive. I'm filling in my tax return, and I'd just like to know what business name and address I should use, my own or Issuebits'?. For the sake of the £100 I earned I'm starting to wish I hadn't bothered, it's all quite complicated and confusing, and I won't even owe any tax!
Much appreciated if anyone can help, thanks.
