Good luck, I'm a stay at home mum too, my maternity pay stopped back in May so I wouldn't worry about them not accepting you for that reason. I just put down my last two employments and there was a gap of about six months between those two, as my previous contract had ended and I was looking for work. It took just over a week to hear back about my application so hopefully it won't be too long for you0

Hello researchers! I have been accepted today to be an AQA researcher, posting my signed contract off tomorrow morning. Very excited but a bit apprehensive! Not for one second do I think I'm going to get rich but I am aiming to boost my income by about £200 a month. I already work full time, does this seem reasonable or not?
Also, and this may be a stupid question, but can I do this from any PC/laptop, or does it need specific software installing into one machine only? The reason I'm asking is that we have both a PC and a laptop and I need to know if I can use both if one is being used or do I have to stick to one?
This thread has been really interesting to read. I believe the next step for me is a 30 question induction? If I make a go of this it would be really good to 'meet' a few fellow researchers!
Thanks all,

hi Sue - congratulations :T - I've been an AQA/63336 researcher for 2 years and I love it.Hello researchers! I think £200 is very achievable for part time AQAing- although I did find that it took me a couple of months to get up to speed (but maybe I'm just slow).

You can load the software onto any number of computers - I have a mac and a laptop - so no problem there.

Hi three,
Many thanks for your reply, I'm really looking forward to the next steps. Is the induction anything to worry about? How soon might it be before I'm let loose, as it were?
I feel as though I have a thousand questions but I'll hold off for now!:lipsrseal:lipsrseal:lipsrseal
