I'm really bored of AQA now. There seems to be hardly any questions coming in - most time I log on, its just the hard queue left - and the questions seem to be getting more and more obscure. I find myself logging on, answering two or three questions, then logging off wondering why I wasted my time.

Anyone else get this or am I just a misery-guts!?

Have a look on the Yahoo group, there's info about it being busy this weekend. Lots of new researchers being recruited in anticipation which is why its quiet now. I kind of got burned out with AQA like you're saying, stopped doing it for a few months and now gone back to it. I find needing the money for Christmas motivates me plus if I work at busy times its easy to get through the questions.

JUst had my introduction and all went well :-) I'm a tad nervous about my first 30 questions though! I take it we don't get paid for those, right?

You do get paid for your first 30.

Congrats, Lynnie, glad it went well. I had my induction last night, and went pretty well. My SR pointed out a few things I could improve on, but I've now been set loose on my first 30!

Can't wait to get going, but feeling a little daunted. Just got to remember to read the question fully, make sure I use full sentences, and take the time to re-read the question and double check my answer.

    Good Luck!

You will notice that this will happen in the last week of the month with AQA. A lot of researchers are trying to up their hard question rate and reduce their skip rate before the end of the month. Sometime the last evening of the month can be a real fight to get questions.

I have got my hard questions and skip rate where they need to be for the month and even though my earning this month are down on last month i am thinking of leaving it there until Saturday to start the new month.
  • It's never usually THIS quiet, though. I logged in at 9PM yesterday, and there was only the 3 questions in the hard queue :|

I've just sent off my contract and am waiting for an my induction. What does this involve? Is it a phone interview of some kind??? Can you fail it?

Also, is it possible to log on and answer questions from anywhere or does it have to be from home?

It's on yahoo messenger Jen and I very much doubt you will fail it. Most of it is just going over what you've already read and getting you familiar with KES. You get one question to answer but your SR will help with that and it's really just to show you where to put your answer etc. You'll be fine!

You can log on from anywhere that the KES database is installed, so if you have that on your laptop and it is wifi enabled, you would be able to log on anywhere there is a wifi hotspot.

Oh okay, thanks Lynnie. That should be alright then..!

So you can't log on from different computers. I was going to be in Australia for a couple of months next year and thought it would be a good way to pass the time. Doubt i'll be taking a laptop and was going to move about a bit. Can you download the KES database onto a disc and upload it on different computers or is that just not feasible?
