  • I've applied again, using a different email address. I sent the email Monday morning requesting application form. Heard nothing back at all.

    Hi

I got emailed this morning with an application and test and I cant open the attachments?

I'm wondering if I should have a specific program on my computer to open it?

You'll need excel, or better still, Open Office (which is free)

If there's an article on free software on the site, it should be mentioned there.
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
  • Did my first set of questions last night. Have reached my 30, so have stopped pending review. I found that a lot of the q's were quite tough. Others not so much. I certainly didn't average 2.5mins per question.
  • I used my free question to ask how many questions they get per day! :rotfl:

I was accepted about a week ago, am yet to get started. I emailed a number of MSE members for info and I think it simply boils down to this - you get out what you put in.

You can make good money but have to put in a lot of hours. My attitude is that even a small amount will help as my budget is such a shoestring.

Suppose their answer was that it is a secret? :)

I'd love to do this if it was cash in hand. Doesn't seem worth going to the hassle of registering as self-employed when I can't possibly be defined as self-employed (people work for them) when I might end up sacked later or decide the work is not for me, then having to un-register or whatever.
  • just made the mistake of using my free question to ask one of my test questions and realised i have answered completely wrong....omg!

    Suppose thats that then.

    Stoopid, stoopid, stoopid.

  • I used my free question to ask walking directions from Victoria Coach Station to Microsoft's office at Cardinal Place. I got a response telling me it was within 5 minutes walk, with no directions.
  • oh thats bad of them!! that really annoys me that they can give a crappy response when my third test i thought was perfect and i still didn't get through. Even got my hubby who is a professional to check it through and it was word perfect.heyho!
