Charges from BT after leaving.

I got a letter stating that unless I renew my broadband for a min of 12 months I will have to pay £6.75 a month for sport channel. I January I called BT and gave them notice to stop BT sport and I was told that it would stop on 9/02/2015 and there will be no extra charge as I have paid upto that date.
As for the email about HH4 I got this email 1 hour after I had switched over to Sky on Tuesday so it was too late to try and keep me as a customer I think it was a standard email but again in the calls to BT there was no mention of me having to send it back as I was told that I have been a customer for 18 months.
Thank you for clarifying the Bt Sport situation. As for the HH4, BT can be very iffy with their distribution of routers. Friend of mine transferred to BT and was sent two routers in the first week. She sent one back. They have asked you to send it back but perhaps they wont insist upon it.
Penrhyn has said you cannot use the HH4 with Sky. I have an Orange router that I cannot use with BT so it is of no use to me.
But it does cost time and money to post it back so I can understand you not wanting to do that if you feel you have "earned" the HH4.0 -
I never saw penryhn's post till now as I was writing the reply this morning and when I pressed summit reply they must of crossed each other's post.
The HH4 is not going to be sold. I have been on skyusers forum and they say it can be used to extend range or something like that. Like I have said before I have paid 18 months broadband and was not expecting to be told to send it back.0
