    I've been into a branch and they have confirmed my application didn't trigger any referals other than proof of identity so in this instance I've got nothing to worry about.

    I wouldn't take what is said in a branch about not triggering any referrals, as gospel!!

    Most branch staff have no idea that the AVU department exists yet alone how it functions, the AVU department speaks to no customers what so ever and will not even talk to branch staff.

    If after a couple of months its still open then I would say you passed AVU departments checks.

    Of course they know it exists where do you think the staff think the applications are referred to? The departments known by a different name internally they're based in Chatham.
