Received an email this morning to say I'd won a 3 Night family stay at a Saint Moritz, Switzerland for a family of four.
No flights unfortunately and has to be taken 3rd to 6th April (Easter Weekend!) so flights are quite abit (approx £850 for us four, not including the train, about another £320) so need to see if we can afford it.
But still feeling happy and would like to Thank You Tea Pea Dee for positing it!
And to everyone else that posts competitions.

Hi LuckySeven7. Are you taking advantage of your prize? Had a similar WEM today and having the same quandary about whether i'll get to use the prize or not.

we got a place too but 5 of us so got to find out extra child price and flights are minimum of £1000 + Train transfer so might just make a week of it and drive down as it would still be cheaper than flying

Yes looks to be about £150 each way in fuel and tolls + £100 for ferry. Just working out how many stops to make on the way down and way back now.

Just got to add in £100 per adult for ski hire too. Doesn't say if the half board is Breakfast and Dinner or Breakfast and packed lunch though. And looking at the hotel menu £50 for a burger ouch.

For people looking at the train from Zurich this page implies you can just buy a month pass for £95 per adult and get a free family pass so you dont have to pay for the kids. might make it bit cheaper if your flying in. http://www.swisstravelsystem.com/en/tickets/swiss-transfer-ticket.html

  • Hi,

We are also winners, received a WEM beginning on Feb.

In terms of making the trip viable, We have booked a free trial with Siblu ( to buy a holiday home) (Domaine de Dugny) for 30th march to 2nd April and then booked a stop on the way to St. Moritz and on the way back too, ferry £100 from Dover.

I was wondering what hotels other had been offered as we are going to the Badrutt's Palace ( looks amazing) with half board which includes breakfast and dinner, the hotel have been awesome in terms of communication!Trying to make it a proper holiday so we will be away about 10 days or so, may even take the kids to disney land paris whilst in Dugny! :)

    Well done winners!
