ee told me i have a cap

I phoned up ee in october to put a cap on my bill of £30 and i moved house ect since then well i finally got around to checking my bank statements and i have been payin £60+ every month since then which is ridiculousI phoned them up today to be told they dont do caps on bills and that one was never put onto my account and therefore its my own fault. Is this true as i have been told by one person it was put on it and now being told that they dont do that. I worked it out that they owe me £118.46 but they wont refund it me is there anyway i can get this back?

    No.
It's not a far too high price to pay for two valuable lessons:
    • Never believe in anything CS tell you (although you say that you phoned to put a cap, but don't say that they promised you to do this).
    • Check the bills and statements regularly. That's what they exist for.

If you are with EE (EE proper..not Orange or TM) you have a cap on your data only, ie when your allowance is gone, you can't use any more unless you buy more. There is no such facility for air time/texts etc.
