BT verses TalkTalk

I'm coming to the end of my TT broadband contract and I really want to leave because the speed is very slow, watching films is always a problem because of buffering etc...It's very frustrating
If I move to BT is it likely to improve or will I be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire with countless firms and people to inform about my new email address?
Fibre Optic is not an option in our area.
Thanks

All depends upon where the problem is .
The ISP The Exchange ( May well be better )
The Cable to your house The Internal wiring in your house ( The same )
No need to have an email tied to an ISP .0 -
Nothing to lose.0

Are you getting the speed that the line was estimated to be capable of supporting? More often than not the issue is in the home and not with the line. Retest using ethernet (not wi-fi) and post your router stats. No free lunch, and no free laptop
