I don't know about specific stock but just for info, there is another focus on Newport Road, Cardiff (next to the Range), which is also closing. There are also stores in Upper Boat (nr Pontypridd) and in Caerphilly. The latter are not closing so stock is full price, but to finish off the kitchen it will prob still be worth checking them out. Thanks for the tips on the Cardiff stores. Is the Newport Road one now shut then? Your original reply was on the 17th and you mention it was closing that day, but this one suggests it is going to close...

Is it shut yet? Could save me a trip!

I also wonder what will go there in it's place since there is a brand new Homebase about 500 yards away..!

Heads up if you're in the Horwich area (Bolton etc). AFAIK, this one closes this Saturday!!!

Woking branch also closing, practically empty of stuff now. To be honest those DIY shops are so overpriced anyway, can find stuff online a lot cheaper, even with the 20% off.

Sorry - poor sentence construction... In 17/11 post I should properly have said, 'Today I visited [the two stores] due for closure' not 'I visited [the two stores] due for closure today'. Both are still open, the Ty Glas Store is first up for closure I think, and is being advertised as such on Red Dragon radio. The Newport Road store has much more stock left and at lesser reductions than Ty Glas, so worth a visit, though I'd get what you can at Ty Glas first to get best savings. Ty Glas will deffo become Homebase, not sure what Newport Road will be come, though staff said they had safe jobs....

I was at the Shipley store on Saturday - they still have some bargains left if you are interested. Most of kitchens, power tools etc are gone, but a lot of decorating materials etc are still there.

it is not only closing but stuff is "UP TO" 50% off, got some exterior ply with 33%off for example. Lots of paint, some tools, lighting etc left. Will become a Homebase, don't know when but I would be surprised if it was before the new year.
