    Hello all, I'm back again.

Tiredtrophy - thanks for the suggestions, I'll find a way to drop those into the conversation - they just might work!

Well, today went downhill fast - popped into supermarket on way home from nights only to be driven into by a pensioner driving over the white line who hadn't cleaned his windscreen before driving off so couldn't even see me ! I was in the car I hasten to add and the damage is only superficial I think but my car is being taken in part exchange for a new one on Thursday - aaargh! Hassle I just don't need. Better check when the next yoga class is!!!

Made the mistake (or maybe not) of standing on the scales this morning. I thought I had put on half a stone since early December but found it was over a stone

Back to eating lots of fruit and veg and avoiding processed junk.

Made a huge lamb and veg stew with shallots, leek, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic and some golden beetroot for me and DD with a puff pastry lid for DH. Will let the leftover stew in pot cool down then make a large pastie to bake for DH tomorrow's lunch.

Another fruit and veg box will be delivered on Thursday so trying to use up as much as I can and avoided going to the shops today as it was so cold and I did not want to be tempted to buy fattening or processed things.

    Hugs to all

    Good evening all,
Been a busy one here today. OH and I have done some more work on our new business - so close to launching it now. I've been editing all day and he's been programming the website. We're still working now doing some filming.

I went for a run earlier - I can now do a mile without having to stop for a walk :T

Breakfast for OH was a bacon & egg sarnie, I didn't fancy anything. We didn't have lunch, but dinner was a turkey satay, made with a turkey breast I got on the reduced counter and bits from the cupboard. Better than most takeaways I would say!

Had a day of no WM or TD on, which is nice.

Hope everyone's well. Now back to work!

  • Good evening everyone,

Brrrrr!! its cold today! We had some snow this morning, but it had all gone by lunchtime.

After work picked up DD and DS, then went home. DD had too much homework to come to the gym with me, so I gave it a miss and did some baking. Made a loaf of bread, some shortbread, ginger biscuits and some blueberry muffins using the Ald* super 6 berries, I bought the other day. Haven't tried them yet, but they look yummy.

Had a jacket potato with chilli for dinner. I was going to change our bed, but can't be bothered now:rotfl: will do it tomorrow. Have a bit of ironing to finish then I can do some crochet.

    Have a good evening everyone.
