Getting Unlock Code from Vodafone

Hi there

Probably primarily for the Vodafone rep that posts on here but requested an unlock code for my old phone over 2 weeks ago as I have had an upgrade. It hasn't arrived so I chased via live chat and was told that I would receive a text about it within a couple of hours- that never materialised either.

Tried sending an e-mail via the link in Vodafone Company Representative's profile but that's come back saying they don't use it any more and go via live chat- which normally takes ages.

So any ideas on trying to speed process up would be appreciated

You don't say how you requested it but fill out the form and wait.

They may be slow but it will arrive eventually.

Is it actually locked? Vodafone stopped locking contract phones years ago.

I can put any sim in my old ex contract phones..

even after waiting out the contract customers have to pay this? no way i think an email to Mr Olaf Swantee is being composed now.

Not a lot you can do, Ofcom allow an admin fee to be charged for this service, so its perfectly acceptable.

May not be good customer service, but its permittable.
