Don't forget to declare all mods!

Like many mods, a bit garish and poor taste. But damned them insurers can be sticklers when it comes to undeclared mods. If a bunch of stickers and an extra fag lighter socket can void your policy, what will be next? Baby-on-board stickers, air fresheners, non OEM wiper blades, child seats, Rick Astley cd's in stereo?!

There is always more to the story, those stickers are adverts .
And yes I agree those with Baby on board stickers should have an extra risk levy.0 -

Insurers refusing cover for stickers on a vehicle...0 -
Business use policies often ask whether the vehicle is signwritten for the business or not...0

Just standard insurance lark really.0

That BBC link is hilarious - especially the AgeUK comment saying signwriting along the sides of the car saying 'Christ must be Saviour' has no religious motive behind it.
Absolutely brilliant - you couldn't make it up.0 -
Isn't it funny they are a victim because of their religion. Nothing to do with the fact that they needed to notify the insurer if the stickers had devil or for any other reason also?
Can i fit a supercharged V8 to a small hatchback and claim they are discriminating against me for being a petrol head?
Some insurers are taking the "P" though with the any mods. Any factory fitted options? Well you tell me....Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Not quite what they said. They actually said their objection had no religious motive. In other words, the fact it said what it said was irrelevant to their decision, and they'd have had the same objection if it said "Joe's Carpentry" or "Gaby's Couriers" or "JC's Catering, Fish BBQs a speciality" or any other business...especially the AgeUK comment saying signwriting along the sides of the car saying 'Christ must be Saviour' has no religious motive behind it.0 -
It's funny this thread comes up with me. My car has quite a few mods, (wheels, window tints, exhaust etc) and all are declared to insurance, but i have a small hand sized sticker on my rear window that isn'tAll your base are belong to us.0
