Ringo mistake got me a parking ticket !

Evening all, the terrible humans at met parking services have served me with a £60 going up to £100 in two weeks parking ticket, here's what happened.
I was late for a train so I fired up ringo , selected 1 day (as I wanted to pick my car up the next day) and off I went, only to find a ticket the next day, after a check of my ringo invoice it appears 1 day doesn't mean 24 hours! It simply means the rest of that one day.
I'm aware these lot can't enforce the fine unless they take me to court. My question is , is this grounds for an appeal or should I just let them threaten me with the usual letters until they go away ?
My concern with the appeal is I will have to admit it was me driving, but by letting it go they will have to prove who was driving, any advice would be kid

Read the Newbies thread carefully, it tells you all you need to know.
In a nutshell, appeal to Met, they will probably reject, but you should win at POPLA if you do it properly. It's all in the Newbies thread.Bournemouth - home of the Mighty Cherries0 -
Do NOT ignore. As above, read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES and appeal using the template letter.
Do NOT admit who was driving but appeal as keeper.
Use phrases like, the driver parked, the driver didn't see the signs etcetera, not I parked.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Ok great. So do I detail the ringo issue or just use the standard appeal template in the sticky ?0

What happened on the day is irrelevant and will get you nowhere, so don't bother to mention it.
Just use the template as it is and include all the appeal points.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
What is ringo ?Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

You are right to fight it, and please do so.
However, I can think of no other "1-day ticket" for any service that runs over 2 days. Your day return rail fare if you bought it in the afternoon would not allow you to return the next morning, for example.
If it had said a "24-hour ticket" then that would have been a different thing altogether. As a result, I can only surmise that if you included that in your appeal, it would weaken it rather than strengthen it.0 -

I dont agree, I've asked a few people this weekend and they agreed, surely ringo need some simple text after the 1 hour duration that reads something like (until the end of today) specially at a station where people would be parking for longer periods, I don't tent to use these services much, maybe its obvious to people who do.
Chiltern are constantly advertising for people to use their services more and the location of this train station means you have to use this scruffy car park, what boils my blood is I had the intention to pay and did pay the premium rate through an app for ease of use and this minor over site ends up with a fine.
Sorry to rant guys. So including the ringo mixup in my appeal is a bad idea ? or do you think if I word it third party it may help ?0
