  • ^are you sure? i thought that if you withdraw any money from this account (HSBC online saver) within the month, you automatically forfeit all interest for that particular month. that's what i was told when i enquired about the account.

are there any other account apart from ICICI that don't penalise you for making withdrawals but also have a decent interest rate?

    Icesave and Sainsbury's Internet Saver

I like Icesave, minimum balance £250, which pays 6.03 gross/6.2 AER. This a/c comes with a valuable interest rate guarantee.

    Also Bradford & Bingley's E-savings, issue 4 which rose to 6.08 gross/6.26 AER on 29 July 2007.

Both are easy access online accounts with monthly interest options and you can make as many withdrawals as you like without penalty.
