Need BB in room with no phone socket

As covered in a previous thread my strongest phone socket is upstairs but I shall be moving pc, smart tv and possibly a sky hd box downstairs in the near future....what are my best options for getting a good BB reception to the room?

My wifi signal isnt great downstairs since Sky sent me their new hub to replace my old O2 box, so maybe a wifi extender would do the job?

I use a powerline adaptor at minute to stream netflix to a non-smart tv in living room and have to say they work well, but would i need 3 seperate powerline adaptors to ensure the best connection, or would one with triple ethernet output do my job?

My last option is to go for fibre broadband which i presume would increase my wifi speed as well as my ethernet.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

A powerline adaptor with 3 outputs would work fine. I use one.

Fibre broadband would not affect your wifi or ethernet speed. It would only make the internet connection faster. Ethernet tends to run at greater speeds than than internet connections so there is no effect there. Wifi speeds depend on the version built into the equipment and how good the reception is.

You could keep your existing power line adaptor and put a switch on the end of it. The TP-Link TL-SF1005D is less than £6 on Amazon and after using one port to connect to the pla, will give you 4 useable ports.

+1 for this option - similar cost from ebuyer.com and works well for me.

Excellent, can use the adaptor with my existing homeplug in one room and purchase a seperate homeplug, with built in wifi extender, in the other.

Any advice on which wifi extender to get?
