    Welcome newbies.

Willowbee - I suffer with Restless Leg Syndrome too, I've had it as long as I can remember, I get it when I am tired and the only thing I can do is go to bed as cold sheets seem to help. It really is horrible.

    I have a TA

Benefit Moonbeam - this was a teeny sample size which I think may have been a fake, I don't actually remember buying it but it had dried up anyway, I have a Highbeam and a Sunbeam which are a similar age and they are still perfect.

Dolly - I'm so sorry to hear that you suffer form RLS as well. It's driving me mad! Mine only started in the last few months but it happens most nights and is really disrupting my already bad sleep :( Last night I ended up with my feet up on the headboard to try and make it stop. I didn't realise it was such a painful thing before I experienced it. I've been taking magnesium which I think has helped but I can only take a low dose. I started iron tablets about two weeks ago as low iron levels can also cause it. It's interesting that cold sheets help you. I seem to need warmth instead (it varies from person to person). When I'm really desperate I go and run hot water over my legs to relax the muscles (usually around 5am!) The pain makes it feel like the duvet is too heavy! It's the craziest thing...I'm also trying salt baths (more magnesium) and have a topical magnesium spray. I massage my feet and legs. It's most likely that it's part of the illness I already have but I'm trying all the home remedies I can first and am really hoping it's not permanent! I really feel for you having had this for years :( Apparently there are medicines that can help. Have you tried any?
  • Happy February everyone. One step closer to summer!

1 IN this weekend, Superdrug Vitamin E all over body cream. I bought this in a panic as I thought the OH was getting fed up with me browsing the shelves for a new body cream, and have buyers remorse already! I wish I'd picked something more luxurious that was on offer, but it will do. There's nothing wrong with it.

Willowbee - that sounds like a lovely (and bargainous) little haul from Space NK :) I hope it helps with your ailments.

I had two INs to finish off January:

    11. L'Occitane Delightful Rose hand Cream 10ml
    12. L'Occitane Vanilla Bouquet hand Cream 10ml

    a lovely freebie!

So my totals for the month:

    IN 12
    UU 20
    GA 1
    Net (9)
Spent £15.60 - Overall not bad for sales month I don't reckon!

    My February PP:

    1. Aveda Invati Shampoo 10ml
    2. L'Occitane Verbena Shampoo 30ml
    3. Paul Mitchell Conditioner 50ml
    4. Aveda Invati Conditioner 10ml
    5. C&E Rosewater Hand Cream 25g
    6. Bliss Lemon & Sage Body Butter 50ml
    7. D&G Desire The One Body Lotion 100ml
    8. S&G Butter Yourself 300ml
    9. S&G Foam Call 500ml
    10. Molton Brown Ylang Ylang Body Wash 30ml
    11. Sanctuary Body Wash 75ml
    12. Origins Plantscription Serum 15ml
    13. Origins Plantscription Cream 15ml
    14. Clinique Clarifying Lotion 30ml
    15. Clinique Moisture Surge 30ml
    16. Yves Rocher Energy Care 40ml
    17. LRP Toleraine Ultra 2ml

Hoping to target the minis this month to make a bit of space quickly and easily. I'm spending a long weekend away for my birthday so plan on UU'ing several of the above then.

For my toner replacement, I'm planning to try Liz Earle's ISBT - does anyone have any other recommendations?

Also, quick question - I'm trying to avoid replacing my shave gel so have been trying a few alternatives - conditioner works ok-ish but seems to blunt my razor a bit, I'm using shower gel at the mo with decent success (this is a great alternative given how much of the stuff I have stashed) - what do others use??

  • So not the best start to the month - 3 UUs and 7 INs - whoops! These were Body Shop purchases from the 50% off sale with an extra 40% off plus quidco and a free hand cream so I got a good deal and some may end up being presents anyway so here are my INs:

    TBS Papaya Body Butter 200ml
TBS Frosted Cranberry Body Butter 200ml
    TBS Blueberry Body Butter 200ml
TBS Vanilla Brulee Body Butter 200ml
    TBS Mango Shower Gel 250ml
    TBS Satsuma Shower Gel 250ml
TBS Absinthe Purifying Hand Cream 100ml

    And my UUs are:

Soap & Glory Clean Girls Body Wash 75ml: Quite a nice scent and texture so WMBA.
Soap & Glory Daily Smooth Body Butter 50ml: I love the smell of this so much that I WBA in the future when I have used everything else up.
L'Oreal Skin Perfection Purifying Gel Wash 150ml: Really nice face wash which really feels like it has done it's job and has a nice smell too - WBA.

Have a UU from my PP list already.

Elemis Pro Intense Lift Effect Serum
    LE C&P 200ml
    LE IBST 200ml
    Neutrogena hand cream 50m
    LE hand repair 30ml
    Sainsburys nail polish remover
    [STRIKE]OPI Nail Envy
    [/STRIKE]LUSH Hot Toddy
    Gilchrist & Soames body lotion
    various founfation sachets/travel tubes

The reason I put Nail Envy on the list is that I've noticed a few bottles on the go around the house. This one had the least amount left so UUed by standing upside down and pouring the contents onto my nails.
Thank you so much for all the recommendations! Think I'll avoid the other due to be discontinued blusher why do brands do this to us?!

I wish I had not read that as I am now lusting over a new Dallas powder.

Hi, I've just finished a tube of the L'occitane Rose handcream and it is divine. I have one of the vanilla ones in my stash to use also.

It's my birthday on 14 February and we are staying away the night before although only staying at a hotel close to the Trafford Centre but means that both MrM and I can have a lovely meal, relax and drink as much as we like then return home on the Saturday to celebrate my birthday with Emma. Best of both Worlds.

I have given up trying to find an alternative toner to LE IBST as the cheaper ones are more astringent and don't want to pay any more than I do for this product.

I've always used shower gel to shave with!

TA due to gone off! (Dressing table sort out)
2 true instant waterproof mascara 7ml wdnba very poor quality
Maybelline Falsies volume express waterproof 9ml wnba
Seventeen doll'd up mascara 9ml bought wrong colour
Collection 2000 fast stroke eyeliner wba, but don't like the foam tip
Unbranded blue glitter eyeliner - wnba, every time I remove it, it gets in my eyes...
L'Aimant body spray - old Christmas gift. Really not a fan of the scent!
L'Aimant perfume - same as above, considering using it to clean with!
Lush ultra bland - wnba, found cheaper alternatives that weren't as messy to use.
Lush Imperialis - wnba, wasn't worth the money, and phasing out parabens - both of these are so old they have started to separate...

Also TA Neals Yard Geranium and Orange hand cream 50ml, magazine freebie but wnba - dh hates the smell of it and it feels 'sticky'. I've decided I don't like the scent too, and have nicer hand creams to use up!

Have also found a lot of single use samples, so they are on the pp this month!

    And one IN

Essential Organic raw Virgin Coconut oil - works really well at removing eye makeup, and leaves my skin really soft after cleansing with it! My Body Shop Camomile cleansing oil is too heavy for regular use, so this is a great discovery :rotfl:

  • 1 UU, Cool Water body lotion – WNBA (well, was a gift anyway). I don't mind the perfume but didn't like the way the body lotion smelt. Didn't last long at all regardless!
